No, not the alien.
ET is the stock symbol for Energy Transfer, the next stock you should buy.
I have been watching this stock for a while and just decided to jump in, lets go over why.
Insider trading
Contrary to prior belief, insider trading is not illegal. Corporate officers of a company can buy their own stock if they report the purchase and wait in accordance with the timing guidelines (20 days-ish) before the purchase is executed.
The last few months have seen hundres of millions worth of investment from corporate officers, this is unusual for Energy Transfer. That, paired with my other points, leads me to believe this can go much higher.
2. Below Fair Value
One of my criteria for investing in a stock, is that I am getting good value. I am not going to buy a stock that is trading at 100x its earnings (I will not name said stock which happens to be VERY popular rn). It is crucial to me that I am investing in a company that I know can make money with my money.
Based off a healthy $14 P/E ratio, which is Stock Price/Earnings (helps determine how much you have to invest for a company to make a dollar), they are relatively cheap for the energy sector. Combine that with income projection models and you get a fair value price of $22 per stock(currently, the stock is at $15).
3. Congressional Trading
The first two quarters of 2024 have seen multiple congressmen, including those on important energy and similar committees, purchase stock from Energy Transfer.
So, if a senator who has skin in the game is faced with a legislation or contract that might impact ET and the energy sector, I am willing to bet they make a smart financial decision for themselves.
There you have it folks. This is why I am buying ET. Always follow insider trading and make sure to only take those that have the best financials. It feels like cheating buy its not.
